Robin and Julia Rogers met in a small hot glass studio in Western Montana in 2001 at a glass shop called Cloud Cap Glass.

Robin Rogers holds a BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design, Columbus, OH, 1998, and an MFA from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Carbondale, IL, 2008.
Julia Rogers holds a BFA from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Carbondale, IL, 2008, and a MFA from Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, OH, 2010.
In their bodies of work, every step of the process, from conception to installation, is completed by both artists.
Ideas, techniques, and an array of materials are melded together to manifest their combined surreal vision into anthropomorphic explorations.
Robin and Julia are enlivened by the inherent qualities of molten glass; its luminosity, viscosity, and seductive flow.
Their interdisciplinary approach incorporates blown and sculpted glass with other materials such as metal, wood, and fur.
Collaboratively, the duo meld their ideas into sculpture, installation and performance.
