    1. I vividly recall that when I moved out of the house and the bedroom we shared, growing up, she painted the walls enameled yellow and used black ink to draw pictures of demons, decapitated beings, and bloody faces (without eyes) hanging from vicious looking trees. The one picture that haunted me for years, was what looked like a pizza oven, with a man/figure loading a body on a shovel, into the opening with flames shooting out.

      1. Holy Moley! What a vivid and terrifying and amazing imagination. I hope that all that wildness was in her creative streak, not her life. Is she still painting? I remember painting a three panel landscape of floating islands (kinda like in Avatar). I also painted a ribbon across my apartment wall. Must have made the landlord happy…..

        1. LOVE the ribbon across the apartment wall… Yes, she is still doing artistic projects. People come far and wide for her annual Halloween displays on our front lawn (yes, we collectively inherited the family home and all 3 of us siblings share it) her bloody baby dolls, tree of bloody body parts and Jack Skellingtons everywhere are but a bit of what she creates. I have written and published 3 books of haiku poetry for photos taken of her work. The first was BooKu, and still my favorite,
