I had an uncle that drew cowboy pictures. The campfire piece you posted is very much like some of his that I remember. Thanks for helping me get back that memory.
I’m going to put Charles Russell on my list to look up. I have always loved Remington’s paintings — I’m surprised I’ve waited this long to bring him to the masses!
I’ve been to the Remington Museum in Cody, Wyoming, and was amazed at his work. The other artist I admire is Charles Russell.
