They say art is a waste of time.

That young minds and old should be focused on more important things like finance and politics and how to earn a living.

Well, art is a miracle of the mind, heart, and soul, too.

I’ve been finding a lot of new and unique artists to share in future Sunday Evening Art Gallery blogs. And with each piece of art comes an overwhelming sense of self. Of accomplishment. Of caring and sharing.

Here are a few of the artist I’ve already featured. Take a look at the thought, the fine detail, the foresight these people had in just creating something:

    1. Thank you, my friend. You make me feel soooo good! Never in a thousand years did I think I would search the Internet and my friendships to find unusual, unique artists to share with everyone. It started by watching my friend and work colleague John Lemke do his pen and ink drawings. He graciously shared his work so I could share it forward, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I mean I’ve found amazing… and I mean AMAZING … quilts, statues, buildings, shoes, colors, paintings, yarn works, string art, body painting — every time I turn around I find something else. I never knew these artists existed. So I HAD to share them with others. I’m so glad you’ve come along for the ride!
