    Glass was considered a semiprecious stone, you know, in ancient Egypt — they lived surrounded by sand but didn’t know how to make it themselves!

    Someone once told me, too, that glass is not an actual solid so much as it is the most viscous and slowest-dripping liquid of all…

    Ah, the many delightful faces of reality — just like your row of goblets ☺️
