  1. I’m sorry you lost another friend. It’s never easy
    We are leaving our garden at the beginning of the production peak to drive my 92 year old dad to New Jersey to see his 87 year old sister. 3 days to travel there. 3 days there. We plan to power drive home in 2 days. Bad timing for such an important journey. I dont want either to be the “survivor “ with regrets. I don’t want the guilt of not doing it. I think we all wish we had one more time with the ones who die before we do.

    1. I think part of our reward in life is giving so that others find happiness too. You are wonderful to drive your dad to see his sister. After all, what do we have left in this world but love? Even if it’s an effort to others. I had good times with my friend — she left the whole family with great memories. That’s all we can ask for.
