Looking for Suggestions

Amy Brown

The other day I wrote that I was between crafts, holding out through the crummy snowy weather until the time I can walk and work outside. I’ve been trying to read a few of the classics, but they just don’t hold my interest.

Hence my question to you — do you have any good books to recommend?

I’m not really into romance novels or hard murder mysteries, and don’t care for over sexed novels or sci fi novels with names and places I can neither say nor pronounce.

I seem to remember mystery novels with cats who help solve the crime or adventures of running around Paris, but it’s been so long I could just as easily be making it up. I enjoy fun and quirkiness and adventures and surprise endings. I’m not good at judging book descriptions on Amazon — often the sound so much better than they read.

So my question is — do you have any good novels to recommend? Something I can read on an airplane or during my recently-designated reading time? Something I can’t put down? Something you’d recommend to good friends?

Thank you, my friends. Looking forward to your suggestions.
