The horrors of these days make the world seem insane, issues and motives and reasoning lost in the zeal of the moment. And we, as living, breathing individuals can do nothing to stop the madness. We are beyond prayers.
Zdzisław Beksiński
A time is coming when men will go mad, and when they see someone who is not mad, they will attack, saying ‘You are mad; you are not like us.”
I am a writer of fantasy fiction that often surrounds middle-aged women. I am a married mother of two and granny to three, a BoHo Chic kinda gal. I am recently retired and busier than when I worked 9-5. But writing and blogging is my main game.

Thank you. I try not to make political or world statements in my blog — I want THIS world to be an escape, if only for a few minutes. But the other day all the craziness hit me at once, and it was worse because I can do nothing about any of it, except, perhaps, to be good to those around me, strangers and family alike.
And being good to those around you and holding compassionate space is better than shutting down, turning away, and trying to bypass. So keep it up luv.
Incredible image. Post is food for thought.<3

We didn’t start the fire. The flames were burning since the world was turning.

Very true, my friend. Very true. And we still are full of pain and confusion.
