I love every phase, crack, and field of Creativity.I don’t care what you try, what you excel at, what you blunder through.
To create is to live.
Wouldn’t it be great if you had a special place — just for you — that you could use to your heart’s desire?
So it can be with what I call Creativity Sheds.
There are She-Sheds, Work Spaces, Get-A-Way Sheds — all with their own ambience.
But what I had in mind is more than an escape shed full of couches and pillows and personal mementos — it’s a magical place where you can explore your craft and move forward in your own way.
I have wandered through the Internet to find images of the perfect writing spot.
The perfect painting spot.
The perfect scrapbooking spot.
Here are some ideas to take away your breath and get your creative juices going.
These pictures are of interiors only — we’ll let the outsides (of which there are many amazing ones) for another blog.
Which one would you choose?
I hear you! But I imagine your ikea table in the corner has its own atmosphere, just the right aura for creativity! Surely you have a photo or nic nac or special pen holder that sets your gears in motion!

I agree, the skylights make it perfect. And yes,” a few paint bloops on the floor” would make it more inviting.

Even better if it had a few paint bloops on the floor!

I don’t plan on giving up. We just have other house projects that are more of a priority right now. 😉

I’m in the process of trying to convince my husband to build me one. Until then, I’ll be daydreaming about my own little space.

Yes! We can at least pretend to have our own Creativity Shed!

We don’t actually need a Creativity Shed to create — we can create THAT in our mind too! Just a little personal space away from laundry piles and kids toys would work.
