Imagine living a life where every day are your Saturdays and Sundays. Make every day your weekend. Make every day a play-day.

I am a writer of fantasy fiction that often surrounds middle-aged women. I am a married mother of two and granny to three, a BoHo Chic kinda gal. I am recently retired and busier than when I worked 9-5. But writing and blogging is my main game.

The trip has become a source of family stories.

Ohh…that sounds more than wonderful. What a wish! I wrote about going to Paris because I don’t know if I’ll ever get there. Must have been quite an experience.

I was there in 2010. It was my mother’s 80th birthday wish to go to Paris. My sister, husband and self accompanied her.

Like another reader mentioned, this bridge, the Pont des Arts Bridge in Paris, removed all the locks in 2015. I love the inspiration this image entails. In my heart the locks are still there!

It was. In the book I just wrote my main character visits that bridge and notes how empty it is without the locks. I just thought it was a Saturday kinda feeling.

I think that I’ve been on that bridge.

This photo must have been taken before June 1, 2015. On that day, the Pont des Arts in Paris was closed for one week while nearly a million love-locks, weighing 45 tons, were removed.
