Today is my “Creativity” Day,” I wanted to share one of my favorite “modern day” (today!) artists — Tiffany Arp-Daleo.
Her art is modern, bright, and full of half-hidden delights in her paintings. I just went through her blog and caught up on what I’ve missed, and found this one.

Tiffany Arp-Daleo is an artist from San Diego, California, who works primarily with acrylics and oils in abstract and mixed media.
She has developed a unique painting style described as Bohemian Abstract, highlighted by bold contrast, gobs of rich color, and layers of texture.
Arp-Daleo expresses her complex emotions by creating intuitive abstract paintings and mixed media artwork, as she is fascinated with color and how it affects moods and feelings.
The artist find inspiration through traveling, attending concerts, and mingling with other artists and creatives in search of new inspiration.
What is enjoyable about her art is that she brings the world of Abstract Art into every day lives with a simple explanation — or sometimes with no explanation at all.
“I create art every day because I HAVE to,” Arp-Daleo explains.
“It’s the release I need and my therapy. If I can share it with someone who will enjoy looking at it every day, awesome!”

The thing I enjoy about Tiffany’s art is that she brings the world of Abstract painting into mine with a simple explanation. Or really no explanation is at all.
I am still new to the worlds of Minimalism, Abstract, Cubism, Surrealism, Fauvism, and many other -ism art forms. I am pleasantly surprised to learn there are more than portraits and landscapes out there in the painting world.
Some forms of art, like Picasso’s Cubism and Dali’s Surrealism, are hard for me to understand. Especially when the art is representative of a person or a mood.
But I am learning.
I am certain there are parameters and categories in Tiffany’s art, too. There is meaning and feeling and inspiration in each creation.
Perhaps I understand better on a beginner’s level because of the squares and cubes and other simpler shapes that I can understand and feel.
