Janet Pulcho (Zhanna Pulcho (- 1997) is a contemporary Ukrainian watercolor artist based in Florence, Italy.
A graduate of the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, she became the youngest member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
With a keen eye for observation and a vast collection of botanical photographs, Pulcho weaves narratives that transcend the canvas.
Based in Florence, this Ukrainian-born artist has carved out a distinctive niche in the art world through her masterful command of watercolor technique and her profound understanding of botanical beauty.
She has developed a distinctive approach combining monumental scale, refined realism, and abstract backgrounds.
Flowers in her work are expressive forms conveying movement, emotional depth, and inner harmony, exploring the tension between control and spontaneity, strength and delicacy.
Pulcho exclusively employs professional watercolor pigments, a deliberate choice ensuring the enduring vibrancy of hues over time.
Each petal, stem, and leaf is incredibly detailed. Her work feels almost alive, as if you could reach out and feel the texture of each bloom.
