I am a writer of fantasy fiction that often surrounds middle-aged women. I am a married mother of two and granny to three, a BoHo Chic kinda gal. I am recently retired and busier than when I worked 9-5. But writing and blogging is my main game.

Is that actually possible? I don’t believe it is. Monks, who have none of our responsibilities of kids, spouses, jobs, etc., spend their entire lives trying to clear their minds and don’t succeed. Maybe we should just learn to live with what we have and be happy, rather than constantly work on ourselves, while missing our lives.
I think it’s important for us to try and clear as much chit out of our brain as we can, and be satisfied with what’s left. I know I think and feel better when I’m not being distracted by junk I can do nothing about. Perhaps a clear mind is nothing more than concentrating on the self first, and its relationship with everything else second.
