I am a writer of fantasy fiction that often surrounds middle-aged women. I am a married mother of two and granny to three, a BoHo Chic kinda gal. I am recently retired and busier than when I worked 9-5. But writing and blogging is my main game.

This is a good one !! As I can’t eat a lot I prefer to eat a dessert only when we go out for dinner. But it is not done over here.

Wait! Wait! Do tell! You don’t have dessert after dinner or order dessert at restaurants?

Sometimes I do, depends on how big the main dish is , some restaurants have huge main dishes, I never take an appetizer. If I can eat a bit after the main plate I ask for a dessert, if I can’t eat the whole dessert my husband always volunteers to eat the rest.

I did not get any recipes, but my favorite was a rhubarb crumble enjoyed at a castle dinner. Delicious! The desserts were yummy without being overly sweet. And the bread! So fresh.

I know this is off topic, but I’d love to travel to either Ireland or France and hit the castles and the pubs and even the grocery stores and taste to my dream’s delight. Maybe soon.
